Senior Electrical Engineer

A successful and well-regarded Building Services consultancy near Bury is looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to take a key role in delivering diverse and meaningful projects within a business known for its strong culture, excellent retention, and true flexibility.

With a healthy pipeline of projects across Heritage and Historical refurbishments, Residential developments, Healthcare, and a particular strength in Commercial Office Fit-Outs, this role offers both technical variety and leadership opportunity. You'll be trusted to take ownership of your work while collaborating closely with a team of experienced engineers and directors.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and managing electrical design projects from concept to completion

• Working on applications such as CCTV, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Security, Telecoms, and IT Infrastructure

• Using and/or overseeing software including Amtech, AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, Revit, and IES

• Mentoring junior/intermediate engineers and supporting their development

• Contributing to client relationships and helping deliver technically robust, high-quality design work

What you'll need:

• A strong background in electrical building services design (consultancy or contractor-side)

• Proficiency in relevant software tools and current building regulations

• Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors, ideally with commercial or fit-out experience

• A minimum of ONC, with HNC or BEng qualifications welcomed

• A collaborative, proactive mindset and an interest in guiding the next generation of engineers
