A successful design consultancy is in need of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work within a busy design office near Bury. The company is looking to recruit someone off the back of a number of successful project wins. The company has a fantastic reputation for supporting and training staff and a number of prominent names in the industry will have begun their journeys in engineering with this company, so it is expected that you share the giving back mentality and, in the future, will be keen to help nurture future stars too and they look to start or continue the early stages of their career.

The current workload consists of Historical and Heritage projects, from overhauling existing buildings to Residential developments, refurbishment of Leisure facilities or even just a renewal of services on a historical site. Add this to the complement of other Commercial, Residential and Industrial projects, you will have a varied workload throughout. The Bury based business has a fantastic reputation in the Office Fit Out sector and one of the owners is particularly strong in this area, thus, the business regularly provides Project Management services right the way through to completion on projects which is unusual in the Engineering Consultancy sector. Some of the work right now is specifically in this sector with well-known Buildings in the UK the current offering.

This Bury role is a hands on Senior Mechanical Engineer post. Office and Company culture is important to this business, they have a close knit team and you would be an integral part once joined. Everyone in the business is involved in successfully delivering projects from the top down. They also operate a hybrid working pattern which is encouraged throughout the business and they were one of the early adopters of this well before COVID so ther is no plans on the horizon to change things.
