Description

New role available for an aspiring Assistant Building Surveyor looking to elevate their career with an industry-leading Building Surveying team in Manchester.

Join one of the city's top Building Surveying & Project Management teams, known for their extensive experience and diverse project portfolio. You will have the chance to contribute to high-profile, multi-million-pound commercial projects that span a wide variety of sectors, including new-build residential, office fit-outs, and industrial developments.

Duties:

  • Building Surveys & Site Inspections: Conduct detailed building surveys, site inspections, and measured surveys to support project delivery.
  • CAD Drafting & Design: Create precise drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, using CAD software.
  • Preparation of Reports & Specifications: Draft comprehensive schedules of work, technical specifications, and feasibility reports for various maintenance and construction projects.
  • Project & Contract Management: Assist in the management of sub-consultants, contractors, and suppliers while supporting the contract administration process under NEC3 and JCT frameworks.
  • Condition & Asset Management: Support senior surveyors with condition surveys, asset management assessments, and Party Wall services.
  • Budget & Cost Monitoring: Assist with compiling project costs and ensure that projects remain on budget, tracking financial progress against approved plans.
