- A vacancy has come available with a National Multi-Disciplinary's Basingstoke office for a Bridge Engineer. In this role you will be involved in the Design, Assessment and Inspection of Rail & Footbridge's. The main bulk of the teams work is Network Rail major projects and repair/strengthening schemes. You will also gain experience of Rail Infrastructure and Building Structures whilst working in this team. They are ideally looking for someone with between 2 - 5 years Bridge Engineering experience, you will be able to show capabilities in Finite Element Analysis using LUSAS, Inspections and Detailed Bridge design using MIDAS/REVIT. Bridge Engineer Responsibilities
- Design of civil and structural schemes
- Experiences in design of Bridges is preferrable.
- Experiences in working with Network Rail will be an advantage.
- Review and checks of other schemes prepared by others
- Carrying out inspections and surveys of structures and preparing reports
- Undertaking feasibility / option studies
- Preparation of project programmes
Bridge Engineer Requirements
- Relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree BEng, MEng or MSc.
- Engineer with +2 years post graduation.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport would be useful but not imperative
- Eligible to live and work in the UK and high standard of written English
