Description

A major multi-million pound Highway project is heading to Site in May and I am looking for an NEC4 Supervisor to assist in managing the project in Selby.

This role will be working with the Lead PM to monitor works, witness testing, check compliance with the NEC4 contract and write reports for the end client which in this case is North Yorkshire County Council.

The ideal NEC Supervisor will have prior experience of a Local Authority major highways project but this is not essential, if you are NEC4 Accredited please do still apply.

NEC Supervisor Requirements

  • Preferably be educated to Degree level or equivalent in Construction Project Management or related construction discipline (Building Surveyor, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Project Management) or be able to demonstrate significant experience in the field
  • Be NEC4 accredited or hold equivalent professional qualification
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, NEC (3 & 4)
  • Experience and knowledge of pre and post contracts, preparing contract documentation and administration
  • Infrastructure and Project Management experience within Highways, active travel, civil engineering and public realm
  • Understanding and awareness of NEC suite of contracts, particularly Professional Service Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
  • Great communications skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
