Mobile Electrician - North of England (Mostly North West)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the UK's leading Facilities Management companies, covering commercial sites across the North of England (mainly the North West).
About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified electrician with a strong electrical background to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance for a very successful FM client based in the North West. The role involves working across multiple commercial sites, carrying out electrical repairs, servicing, and small installations as required. You will be part of a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
- Complete some small installation works
- Support fellow technicians with maintenance tasks, including both major and minor repairs.
- Prioritise and complete electrical maintenance and repair work efficiently.
- Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and available for use.
- Travel to different sites within the designated region when required.
- Maintain high-quality service standards and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to company KPIs and health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (Parts 1 & 2).
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential).
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: £33,280 - £39,520
- Paid travel time (door-to-door)
- Overtime rates (1.5x & 2x)
- Call-out rota: 1 in 6/7 (£175 standby payment)
