Calibre Search are looking to speak with intermediate Quantity Surveyors (PQS) for a highly ambitious and international consultancy based just south of Manchester City Centre.
You will be given the responsibility in assisting and even leading on private and public sector projects which include numerous PRS developments, new build retail parks and much more not just across the UK but overseas too.
On offer; a full APC support programme (excellent track record in helping surveyors gain their MRICS), fantastic projects and clear career progression and annual reviews of performance and promotions.
Great position to join a practice who have a highly reputable name in the industry for being part of national frameworks and delivering projects in their own unique style.Ideally, you will be QS degree qualfied with post practical experience already having worked within a consultancy/client facing environment.
Requirements:- Have strong communication (both written and verbal) skills and an interpersonal style that enables you to flourish in a direct client facing role
- Be able to chair meetings and have the leadership skills needed to lead a project team, which may sometimes include managing conflict and resolving complex issues
- Have exceptional planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands
- Be able to work independently, make sensible judgments and decisions, and take responsibility for doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
- To assist in the management of the delivery of all pre & post contract services, comprising dealing with cost variances and associated change control processes, conducting valuation processes, carrying out cost checks, producing regular cost reports, negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
