An opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Associate level Structural Engineer to join a multi - award winning engineering and environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation for technical excellence and exceptional client satisfaction.

You will be joining a design development team in Leicester, this team delivers a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national.

They are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStructE OR MICE) with significant experience working on both commercial and residential building structures, as these will be the projects which you will be taking a leading role on. As well as producing some design calculations yourself, you will also be required to mentor and develop more junior engineers to help them progress their abilities too.

Working on challenging and multiple projects simultaneously, you will be undertaking preliminary and detailed designs and provide technical support activities. You will be required to work with limited support and supervision, and take responsibility for your own learning, along with supporting the development of more junior members of the team.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Engineer to enhance their skills and develop themselves within a well-established company.

Alongside the technical delivery and project leading responsibilities, you will be expected to develop client opportunities, chase down leads and be a front facing contact for the company.
