Associate Building Surveyor

Calibre Search is looking for an ambitious Building Surveyor to step up into an Associate Director role with a leading global consultancy in Manchester.

The role offers exposure to high-profile investment clients and the opportunity to work on complex, high-spec projects.

You'll provide specialist building surveying services, support business development, and have clear progression paths to Director level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dilapidations: Prepare/respond to claims and schedules.
• Schedules of Conditions: Draft for clients taking on leases.
• Tendering & Project Management: Produce specifications and manage projects from start to finish.
• Party Wall Matters: Handle party wall issues.
• Pre-Acquisition Surveys: Conduct surveys and prepare detailed defect reports with cost estimates.

Requirements:

• MRICS qualified (or close).
• Strong experience in building surveying, particularly dilapidations, party walls, and pre-acquisition surveys.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on business development.
• Ambitious with a clear drive to progress within the firm.
