Project Manager

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent (with hybrid work options)

Salary: £60000 + Company Car + Excellent Benefits Package

Are you an experienced project or service manager with a background in industrial and commercial refrigeration? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment, managing service projects and building strong customer relationships? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver exceptional projects across the Southeast. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role, working with a highly skilled team, to drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, manage, and deliver service projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all job costs are tracked and reported accurately, working closely with senior leadership to maintain financial controls.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including quotations, orders, invoicing, and ensuring adherence to company procedures.
  • Proactively monitor project margins and sales, providing early warnings if targets are at risk.
  • Identify opportunities for new services through customer satisfaction surveys and market trend analysis.
  • Assist in driving new business development and cultivating strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient use of engineers, keeping productivity high and maintaining positive team morale.


Required Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project or service management within the industrial and commercial refrigeration industry.
  • Engineering qualifications or technical certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong project management, people management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and customer focus.
  • Ability to drive results and make data-driven decisions.
