An opportunity has come available for a Geotechnical Estimator in Stockport to head up a small estimating division within a well established Ground Investigation Consultancy.
This is a position for a Geotechnical Estimator to head up a small department, report directly into the Director and manage all aspects of the businesses tender and bid process.
As a Geotechnical Estimator, you will be tasked with managing the tender process from start to completion including: streamlining and implementing new tender processes, preparing cost effecting tenders, identifying cost effective solutions, identifying opportunity to upsell, whilst communicating effectively with clients at all stages and retaining/growing business.
Geotechnical Estimator Specification
- Tendering and bidding experience within the UK Ground Investigation industry
- Ability to coast and scope Ground investigations
- Ideally ground investigation on-site experience but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
