Description

Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer

Bolton

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Job Ref #35915

A rare opportunity to work client side for a dual office Building Services Consultancy. If you have wanted to work directly for the stakeholders and for a single client, then this opportunity presents the opportunity to do just that. It's also a pharmaceutical client so it's everything from technical laboratory builds to office space improvements. The opportunity will be based out of Bolton, but you will also have to do Design Team Meetings in other offices in Manchester and on site throughout the North West. The consultancy is well established and it's relationship with this client is too.

You will develop design from Feasibility to Stage 4 and the companies reputation is solid and is known for providing engineering solutions that are innovative, well thought out, detailed and they work. You will have engineers at hand to help you develop the designs and an equivalent Electrical Engineer to handle that side of the job.

You need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Solid technical understanding of Mechanical systems
  • Good working knowledge of renewable technology
  • Experience of providing solutions that are Sustainability and meet carbon reduction objectives
  • Experience of leading Design Team Meetings
  • Client facing experience/ability
  • Resourcing expertise
  • Estimating and Tendering experience.

Chartership would be an advantage but it is by no means essential. Experience equivalent to the demands of the job are what they are looking for here. Ideally, with regards to Education, you will have a Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering.

So, if you are a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer and are looking for a client side opportunity, or you would like further information, either send me your CV or contact Rob Jones in Calibre Search's Manchester Office on 0161 6602360 or .
