Obviously, you'll need to have a solid electrical building services background and ideally be working your way to Chartership if you are not already there.

You won't need to take responsibility for the mechanical aspects, you have fantastic opposite numbers for that, but you will need to be happy client-facing and taking increasing amounts of responsibility as you develop.
