Regional HVAC Manager Vacancy.
As a regional HVAC Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful design, installation, and management of rental heating & DHW systems. (5kW to 2MW boilers / chillers & portable units.)
You will be responsible for assisting in the technical aspects of heating-centric HVAC projects and providing expert guidance to our internal business departments as well as our customers.
You'll be commercially & mechanically minded, lending credibility and support to our internal and field-based sales teams. Your heating and mechanical experience will be pulled-on to find solutions which will support the installation/engineering team with the demands of each individual project.
Day to day duties include:- Meeting with customers to discuss Heating & cooling requirements upon customers' requests.
- On site cooling & Heating surveys.
- Surveying for transport, inc. HIAB & FLT access.
- Building RAMS & writing installation methods for installing our related equipment for engineers to follow.
- Compiling project related compliance documents for customers.
- Building kit lists for quotes.
- Procuring bespoke equipment for projects.
- Producing program of works (POW's) for projects.
- Full ownership of reactive projects that your name is associated with (RAMS you have built.)
- Finding solutions to problems that might arise during an installation or deinstallation.
- Post auditing of installed projects.
- Supporting the wider business (Sales team and non-technical employees) with your knowledge to help deliver projects as per your RAMS and vision.
- Organised reporting back to the Senior HVAC Technical manager with weekly progress updates.
About yourself:- NVQ Level 3 in HVAC engineering or a related M&E field.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC, with a strong focus on heating & DHW systems.
- Proficiency in MS software and able to use a tablet for reporting and auditing.

- Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be personable equally with Engineers on the ground, and professionals in an office surrounding.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and enjoy working under pressure.
- Prepared to be an ambassador for the business even when things are tough. Negativity on the front line should not be a trait.
- Task/results driven, rather than time driven.
- Mechanically minded.
- Adaptable; happy to bend with incoming workloads at a moment's notice.
- Able to juggle several projects at a time across multiple sites and geographical locations.
Package:
In return you will receive:
£40 - £50k basic salary (dependent on experience - potentially negotiable for the right candidate)
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
