I am looking to speak with a Geotechnical Engineer within central London that has a good baseline of design that is now ready to transition into a position that offers more responsibility to aid rapid career progression.
You will be working for an international civil structural consultancy sat within a small but growing geotechnical engineer design team, helping to manage projects from inception through to complex design solutions and construction.
Although you will come in as a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be working closely with civil and structural engineers to value engineer major building projects on complex ground conditions.
Your role will involve most aspects of geotechnical design across for deep foundations, basements, retaining structures with the use of most industry software and finite element.
Geotechnical Engineer Specification
- BEng/Meng Civil Engineering, ideally MSc in Geotech/Soil mechanics
- 2-6 years of geotechnical design experience with the use of analytical software
- Experience across geotechnical reporting
- Ideally some FE experience
- Confident communicator
