Air Conditioning / Refrigeration engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration engineer to join a well established HVAC contractor based in the North East. The company have a strong background in both Air conditioning and refrigeration, being able to provide reliable service and maintenance services for clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of air conditioning equipment including the following: Split, VRV, CRAC Units and some Chillers. Alongside working on commercial refrigeration systems too, such as bottle coolers, display cabinets, cold rooms etc.

You will hold your current Fgas certificate and ideally have and NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in air conditioning.

Package / Salary:
- 42.5 hour working week
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday
- Hourly paid 17.50 - 19.50 depending on experience and qualifications
- Must be F-Gas Cat 1 qualified
- Hydrocarbon certs are beneficial but not essential
- Transit custom van, tablet provided
- Specialist tools provided
- 24 hour Standby cover rota (north east area only) currently 1 in 6
