Role: Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid Arrangement)
Salary: £45k+ (Negtioable)
My client is a progressive and growing MEP consultancy based around Oxford area. The directors have grown the business from scratch to a solid team of 18 in just over 2 years. They have made a conscious decision to curate a non-corporate working environment and utilise an 'open door policy' with all engineers having monthly 1-1s to ensure each they are satisfied with their development, the projects & their workload. The directors are all Chartered and well-experienced Engineers in their respective field and encourage all staff to have a direct line to them with any questions or assistance.
They specalise within Higher Education and Science & Research sectors. They also work across the traditional sectors (Commercial, Heritage, Residential, Residential, Healthcare etc) as well several decarbonisation schemes and passivhaus projects. On top of this, they operate on a 9-day fortnight meaning everyone gets a day off every 2 weeks (In addition to holidays) and they are extremely flexible regarding WFH!
Having secured more schemes, they are looking to facilitate their growth with the addition of a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will be primarily focused on project delivery with aspects of mentorship, design and maintaining client relationships.
Requirements
- An Electrical Engineering Degree or Building services Related.
- 5+ years' experience working within the building services consultancy.
- Experience leading projects as an Electrical Engineer.
- Experience undertaking surveys and generating reports and specifications.
- Proficiency using Revit MEP, Amtech, DiaLUx/Relux (Preferable).
- Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.
- Have the right to work within the UK without sponsorship (my client is ineligable to sponsor visas)
