- Description
A Transport Planning Specialist Consultancy with 4 offices across the South of England is looking for a Transport Planner with between 2 & 5 years experience to join their Bristol office.
As a Transport Planner in this role you will be joining a team of 9 in a Bristol City Centre office working on schemes such as large DCO application Solar Farm's, 2,500 home residential schemes and plenty of mixed use developments across the South West.
A Transport Planner with a keen interest in taking on project management responsibilities is exactly what they are looking for in this role, you will be given the skillset to write fee proposals, manage projects, liaise with the client and be responsible for their delivery.
Transport Planner Requirements- Delivery of Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
- Delivery of feasibility studies
- Delivery of transport scheme business cases
- Development of traffic models and analysis
- Analyse, write and present results and reports
- Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
- Work as part of a team to develop solutions
- Support the Transport Planning Team by taking leadership and responsibility for the delivery of its tasks and projects.
- Continue to develop your professional skills as you progress your career.
Transport Planner Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Geography, Planning or related subject (Masters' Degree in Transport Planning desirable)
- Working towards or chartered with a relevant professional body
- Delivery focussed
- Ability to work independently and in the team
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Enthusiasm to be part of growing the business
- Travel Flexibility
- Working in a multi-disciplinary consulting environment
